I've really been busy with projects these last few weeks. After doing a super girly matching hat & purse set for a baby shower gift, I decided it was time to make something for a sweet baby boy. I sat down and worked up this hat...
The bottom has a cool crossed-stitch effect that unfortunately isn't too obvious here. This acrylic hat is super soft and would be a perfect baby shower gift for anyone expecting a baby boy. I then started work on a basic black shell-stitch hat. My sister-in-law suggested giving it some cream accents, which I thought was a fantastic idea. I ended up making two identical hats, one for baby sister, and one for big sister...
Can't wait to see pics of these hats on my friend's girls!!!
I took a small break and created not-a-hat for my cousin's birthday gift (I can't tell you what it is...she hasn't got to open it yet!), and got right back into making more hats! This time for some of the lovely women in my life. Not finished yet, but the black hats have become very popular, may even end up with one for myself :)
