Where've I Been?

So, I took a vacation in March, and spent the entire two weeks working on an afghan for my husband (which sad to say is still not finished), but when I got back, I took a vacation from crochet for awhile.  Now, I'm back at it, this time making bags, bags, and more bags.

Hats, Hats, Hats

I've really been busy with projects these last few weeks.  After doing a super girly matching hat & purse set for a baby shower gift, I decided it was time to make something for a sweet baby boy.  I sat down and worked up this hat...

The bottom has a cool crossed-stitch effect that unfortunately isn't too obvious here.  This acrylic hat is super soft and would be a perfect baby shower gift for anyone expecting a baby boy.  Please contact me at jessica@GenesisCrochet.com if you would be interested in purchasing this hat, or would like one made up in a different color.

I then started work on a basic black shell-stitch hat.  My sister-in-law suggested giving it some cream accents, which I thought was a fantastic idea.  I ended up making two identical hats, one for baby sister, and one for big sister...

Can't wait to see pics of these hats on my friend's girls!!!

I took a small break and created not-a-hat for my cousin's birthday gift (I can't tell you what it is...she hasn't got to open it yet!), and got right back into making more hats!  This time for some of the lovely women in my life.  Not finished yet, but the black hats have become very popular, may even end up with one for myself  :)

This V-Stitch scarf is toddler-size, and was a gift for my darling 2 year old niece

This adorable dusty pink baby hat is currently FOR SALE!  It is approximately 14 in diameter & 5.5 in tall (about newborn to 3 mos). Will embelish with flower/butterfly/bow if desired.

This little clutch or coin purse was a gift for my aunt.  This pattern is very versatile and can be done up in a myriad of color variations.  I love to try and find interesting buttons to include!

This is a Woman's Hat FOR SALE, approximately 22 in circumference & 7.5 in deep.  It is made with soft 100% acrylic yarn and is machine washable and dryable.
